Overview

Dr. Newman is the Director of Clinical Education and a clinical assistant professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Tarleton State University. Her primary clinical background is in orthopedic and sports physical therapy and acute care. She has practiced across the continuum of care, including outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, and skilled nursing.

Dr. Newman finds fulfillment in shaping the future of the PT profession through education and mentorship. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exercising, and golfing.
