Dr. Renee Pruitt is a dedicated educator and clinician with over 30 years of experience in physical therapy practice, education, and healthcare administration. She currently serves as a clinical assistant professor at Tarleton State University, contributing to the development of the university’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Her professional expertise spans clinical practice, program leadership, and healthcare administration, with a passion for student development, curriculum innovation within the field of physical therapy education, and rural healthcare resilience. Her commitment to student success, rural health advocacy, and interdisciplinary education makes her an integral part of Tarleton State University’s mission to advance healthcare in rural communities.

Dr. Pruitt’s clinical background includes extensive experience across multiple settings, including outpatient rehabilitation, home health, acute care, and skilled nursing. She has also served in leadership roles such as a Program Director, Interim Dean, CAPTE On-Site reviewer and Commissioner, and FSBPT item writer.
