Tarleton RELLIS Service and Leadership Day Project, Bryan, TX, Faculty Advisor (2022). This Service and Leadership Day Project involved working with the RELLIS Tarleton Food Pantry and Social Work Department to collect food for local food pantries and planning for the RELLIS Food Pantry.
Tarleton RELLIS Service and Leadership Day Project, Bryan, TX, Faculty Advisor (2018-2019). This Service and Leadership Day Project involved supervising CJ and PA students while interacting with seniors at the Park at Traditions nursing home. We helped run the afternoon trivia gathering and generally socialized with residents. Our students (and faculty) interacted and socialized with the residents at this the experiential learning social event. Residents enjoyed learning about Tarleton RELLIS and asking the students about their chosen career goals
Tarleton Service and Leadership Day Project, Fort Worth, TX, Faculty Advisor (2017-2018). Helped organize the Criminal Justice Department project for One Safe Place/Stones of Hope. Project involved painting inspiration rocks to put in the garden at One Safe Place and writing and decorating inspirational notes to children who would attend Camp Hope in the summer. Camp Hope attendees are all children who have witnessed domestic violence in their home.
Tarleton Service and Leadership Day Project, Fort Worth, TX, Coordinator (2016- 2017). Organized Project #86 Camp Hope Drive for One Safe Place (OSP). Coordinated what items were needed with the executive director of One Safe Place. Organized delivery day student activity with OSP personnel. Kept track of program administration, drafted flyers, and ensured the program students were eligible for ALE credits.
