Education
Texas Christian University (TCU) graduate in 1992 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began my 30+ years nursing career as an ICU nurse at Lake Granbury Medical Center. I obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing (Nursing Education) also from TCU in 2011, then continued on to obtain my Post-Master’s Certificate in Executive Nursing Administration in 2019 and my doctorate in 2020 from the University of South Alabama.
Professional Background
I have been a Nursing Instructor in the School of Nursing at Tarleton State University for twelve years. I have been an ICU nurse for 30+ years to stay current/consistent with the hospital environment and my teaching.
Personal career goals are to be an effective teacher with a strong desire for student success. I strive to provide quality educational experiences that prepare nurses for a diverse, ever-changing health care environment.
