He holds certification in point-of-care ultrasound and is an Army Veteran who previously served as Section Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Department of Veterans Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>At Tarleton, Dr. Riggs\u2019 primary focus is teaching clinical imaging. He is currently developing an ultrasound program for both teaching and research applications within the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Dr. Riggs is also working closely with the anatomy program to develop relationships with cadaver labs in the region to facilitate cadaveric research studies.
