Dr. Teresa Huckaby is a Clinical Associate Professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Tarleton State University. She is a devoted educator with a background in orthopedics and has earned a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation. Dr. Huckaby received her Master of Physical Therapy in 2006 from Angelo State University and her Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Temple University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Huckaby\u2019s clinical experience includes practicing in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and home health. She has been involved in DPT education since 2015 and has previous experience as a teaching faculty member, director of clinical education, and program director. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in outdoor activities, and traveling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Research<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Huckaby\u2019s research interests include the biomechanical and electromyographic influences of exercise variations, and physical therapist and student resilience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
