Tarleton State University – Visiting Assistant Professor, College of Liberal and Fine Arts School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Public Administration (2018 – present).

  • Adjunct faculty member 2016 – 2018.
  • Currently teaching Criminal Procedure, Criminal Justice Capstone, Criminal Justice Ethics, Introduction to Homeland Security, Court Systems and Practices, The American Judiciary, Legal Aspects of Criminal Justice Management, Legal Aspects of Public Administration Management.
  • Received the Department of Criminal Justice 2017 Outstanding Instructor Award (the award selection is made by a vote of the cohort M.C.J. Program students) as an adjunct faculty member.

The University of Texas at Dallas – adjunct faculty member (2017 – 2018). Taught Introduction to Homeland Security in the Master of Science in Justice Administration and Leadership (JAL) executive program offered by the School of Economic, Political and Policy Science in the Department of
Criminology.

FBI Academy, Quantico, VA, Legal Instruction Unit (LIU) legal instructor and adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia (UVA) (2000 – 2003). Taught a Legal Aspects of Management course to officers attending the National Academy (which received credit from UVA), the entire legal course of instruction for FBI new agents, and numerous short specific trainings for FBI Special Agents, police officers from across the U.S. Lead subject matter expert and program coordinator for the LIU Use-of-Force Program.

FBI University adjunct faculty member (1996 to 2018). Certified in the Bureau’s internal “University” to teach Law, Intelligence Operations, and Counterterrorism.

Northeastern University, Boston, MA (1990-1995) adjunct lecturer in the College of Criminal hool – taught classes in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Business Law (geared to the private security industry).
