Jacinda Ripley is currently the Visiting Instructor of Trumpet at Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas. She previously held collegiate positions at Saginaw Valley State, Alma College, the University of Olivet, and Saint Xavier University. She has performed with the Lansing, Battle Creek, Flint, Adrian, Racine and Saginaw Bay Symphonies, and was a trumpet fellow at the National Orchestral Institute in 2022. Ripley is Solo Cornet in the Fountain City Brass Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Ripley maintains a private studio and has presented masterclasses to studios across the United States, recently including the University of Utah, the University of Iowa, and Illinois State Trumpet Studios. She has given presentations at the International Women\u2019s Brass Conference and serves on the editing team for the International Women\u2019s Brass Conference Noteworthy Newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ripley received her doctorate from Michigan State University. She holds a Master of Music in Performance from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the Eastman School of Music.
