Assistant Project Director of a $754,000 grant to develop and provide training and technical assistance for law enforcement personnel to reduce illegal trafficking of firearms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>1997-1998<\/em><br>Law Enforcement Response to Abortion-Related Conflict and Violence, a Kaiser Family Foundation grant. Project Associate of a $400,000 grant to examine the nature and extent of abortion-related conflict and violence to result in policy recommendations for the police. The project provided technical assistance and built evaluation capabilities for grant recipients under the Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Formula Grant Program. Managed workshops and conferences on various criminal justice topics. Interviewed and provided technical assistance to workshop participants. Served as a liaison for information sharing with federal agencies, state planning agencies, and local jurisdictions.
