Preparing for Your Class

This course is a hybrid course (online components) and the use of Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) is required.  Blackboard LMS will become available to the student as the class begins and Blackboard student tutorials are available digitally and in person on campus.

The course uses Blackboard 9 and the campus portal is the entry point.

It is not necessary to wait for the course to begin working through the student training material for Blackboard.

It is important to properly configure your computer, and especially get and configure the correct browser, for the smoothest experience using Blackboard.

Purchase the textbook.  Begin reading.  The textbook is the class notes.
